Uniform heating: Helps ensure that all parts of the PCB are heated uniformly during reflow soldering, reducing soldering defects caused by temperature differences.
Preventing PCB warping: Particularly for thin or large-sized PCBs, this effectively avoids deformation under high-temperature conditions.
Improve production efficiency: By placing multiple PCBs at once for reflow soldering, batch production is achieved, thereby enhancing production efficiency.
Protect the PCB: Reduce damage to the PCB during the reflow process, such as by preventing collisions or friction with other objects.
The materials used for reflow soldering fixtures typically need to exhibit excellent high-temperature resistance, mechanical strength, and chemical stability. Common materials include synthetic stone and fiberglass composites. The design of these fixtures must be customized based on factors such as the PCB’s dimensions, shape, component layout, and the characteristics of the reflow oven, in order to achieve optimal reflow performance.
