The test fixtures strike an excellent balance between cost and reliability. They offer numerous basic options suitable for a wide range of DUT sizes and anticipated production volumes. We also appreciate their interchangeable cartridge system, which makes it easier for the QA team to perform large-scale testing of multiple PCB designs. The cartridges are machined to fit each specific DUT and are designed to be fully interchangeable.

The core building blocks of ICT systems typically consist of several key components that work together to automate the testing process for electronic devices and systems. These usually include test systems, test fixtures, and test software.

The ICT tester consists of the following components: Controller – The controller is a computer used to drive the system and run the required software. Switches – These route the system to specific areas or nodes on the circuit board being tested. Interface – This allows various circuit-board fixtures to be mounted onto the tester. Such fixtures include electrical connections; if the circuit board requires power, they may also include a power supply. If the circuit board needs to be clamped onto a “pin bed,” they may also include an air supply or vacuum system.
